I just recently changed my handphone....a Sony Ericsson k800i. Was using a Nokia 6680 before this and actually, I was holding out for an N93 when it's released. But the retail price was too high. In the end, I decided on this...which was a good decision. My previous experience with a Sony Ericsson wasn't really a good one...kept hanging on me and it lagged too much. I was surprised to see that this model didn't have any problems. And the Cybershot-quality phone is really good. I didn't usually take photos with my old phones, but now I do. I even use the mp3 player function more nowadays. Needless to say, the batteries are well, battered.
Now, I'm patiently waiting for PS3 to be released. Chances are that I won't be getting it immediately...the initial launch would probably have the retail price at an astronomical range. I'll probably get it after a year or so. Dearie is much more comfortable with her Nintendo DS...she's hooked on Harvest Moon now. Enjoying it dear? ;)
We need a holiday...a good one at that cos I know next year will be a very busy year for me. My school will be moving to a temporary premises June next year cos our building will be demolished to make way for a new one. It won't be ready till 2009 so we'll be stuck in the temporary holding school for at least 2 years. I went by the building the other day. Oh my. It's old. It's ancient. It's the stuff where ghost stories are made off. Well, I guess 2 years won't be short enough. I'm imagining to logistical nightmare this will be. Furthermore, I'll be taking over James as the CO for the NCC Unit. Talk about bad timing.
Dearie and I have made a decision. We are going to adopt in two years time. It's a long story and I probably didn't explain earlier, but I will in time. Right now, we have decided on it and parents on both our sides are okay with it. And so, we are going ahead with it. Things are clearer now than they were before. We'll get through it, honey...I promise.
